Automate Everginium production and diagnose bottlenecks
Separate buffers for raw material, binder, unrefined cores, refined cores and blocks make the factory easier to understand. Keep incomplete items circulating until every assembly cycle finishes.
Connect the regular route
- Grow coffee, rooibos and mate in parallel; buffer each and reserve planting stock.
- Supply all three and water to the heated Mixer. Export only finished binder.
- Supply sheets and binder to their Deployers; return incomplete cores through all four cycles and filter completed Unrefined Cores out.
- Supply the Reaction Chamber with cores, water, chemical acid and FE on correctly configured sides.
- Combine chemically refined cores and real Forsaken drops in a Refined Core buffer.
- Supply a complete ingredient set to the Core and all eight Pedestals, provide FE and extract blocks.
Feeding the Core alone does not fill the Pedestals. Test one manual batch, then verify all nine ingredient positions. See crafting automation and Combination Crafting.
Expand the bottleneck
Without speed upgrades, a continuously supplied Reaction Chamber refines about two cores per minute. A continuously powered Crafting Core theoretically finishes 1.2 batches / 21.6 ingots per minute, before item-transfer delays. These are stage calculations, not a measured factory output. A Forsaken spawn takes about a minute at 256 RPM plus combat, so the shortcut is not automatically faster. A filling buffer before a machine and empty buffer after it identify a stage worth examining.
Troubleshooting
| Observation | Check |
|---|---|
| No ore in old tunnels | New Mining Dimension chunks, Y −48 to 96 |
| Ore drops nothing | Diamond-tier or better tool |
| No binder | Exact three crop ingredients, water, rotation and heat; wild decorative plants are not leaves/beans |
| TDPlanter lacks output | Planting item, soil, recognition, power and output room |
| Incomplete cores accumulate | Deployer ingredients, order, Press and all four return cycles |
| Reaction Chamber stops | Unrefined Core, correct chemical acid/fluid water inputs, FE and output room |
| Core does not start | Refined Core centrally; eight separate Pedestals at the same height within range |
| Core progress pauses | FE, complete ingredient supply and output room |
| Spawn-fluid recipe fails | Superheating rather than ordinary heating, and every consumed ingredient |
| Loot without cores | Remove Loot Collector mode, spawn and kill an actual Forsaken |
| Mobs accumulate | Kill rate, shadow healing, light and item pickup; stop further fluid supply during diagnosis |
| Cell recipe does not fit | 7×7 table and correct 16M/64M component, not the pedestal setup |
| Old polonium route still appears | Installation, scripts and fresh logs after a full restart |
Verify a complete cycle
Observe one binder batch and four assembly cycles; refine its core; complete one manually supplied pedestal batch and confirm two blocks. Verify all three TDPlanter outputs. Check a real Forsaken kill separately from Collector loot. Inspect the desired cell's full recipe before spending blocks.
New items and fluids require a full game restart after the pack change; a recipe reload does not register them. World-generation checks need new chunks in a test world/instance. This describes the configured system rather than proving a particular in-game factory works.
