First installation

  1. Download the BuildUp installer ZIP, extract it and run Installieren.cmd. It installs Prism if needed, creates the FlammiCraft profile and opens Prism. Sign in with your own Minecraft account.
  2. Your PC needs at least 8 GB RAM, with 16 GB recommended. A new Prism configuration defaults to 6 GiB allocation and automatic Java selection/download. Existing Prism settings are preserved, including RAM allocation inherited by the profile. Minecraft initially starts in German; you can change that later.
  3. Alternatively, download the BuildUp profile and use Prism's Add Instance / Import.
  4. Start BuildUp. Initial downloading and startup can take time. Wait until the white loading bar has completely disappeared before changing language or other settings; changes during loading can cause a crash or hang.

Later pack updates load on startup. Prism shows when a new update is installed. An up-to-date pack starts without checking every pack file again. No reimport is necessary. For persistent problems, contact Discord with the error and BuildUp version.

Update an existing profile

Your maps, waypoints and worlds are preserved.

Normal updates: Start BuildUp in Prism as usual. The pack and startup scripts update at launch. New profiles update the main script before running its latest version.

NeoForge updates: If a loader update is required, an update window opens. Close Prism completely and leave that window open. Reopen Prism only after the window confirms success, then start BuildUp again. Prism installs the required loader. The window explains errors and next steps if anything fails.

Update display: The update window shows checking and installation. After success it closes after five seconds and starts Minecraft automatically without confirmation. Current packs start without an extra window. Error displays also close automatically; details remain in Prism's launch output.
