Getting started in the BuildUp Minecraft modpack

BuildUp combines building, exploration and automation on Minecraft 1.21.1. There is no mandatory quest sequence. These milestones suggest a route; you choose how to connect them. Use the loaded recipe viewer for exact ingredients.

Your first day

  1. Read the rulebook and respect server permissions.
  2. Join or create a TDGroupe group before sharing a base.
  3. Arrange protection with TDClaim and grant only necessary permissions. On FlammiCraft, request claims and changes through the admin team via a Discord ticket.
  4. Secure food, a bed and organised storage.
  5. Explore structures and caves, keeping rare finds for later recipes.

Mining Dimension

Use the Mining Dimension for bulk resources. New chunks contain concentrated ores, rocks, sand, geodes and special chambers. Mekanism's Digital Miner is not intended for the Overworld. See the resource tables for heights and generation frequencies.

Technology milestones

StageDirection
Early automationCreate processing, farms and visible transport
Electrical industryMekanism power, ore processing and chemistry
Networked storageAE2 storage and autocrafting
Large projectsExtended Crafting machines and multiblocks
Shared endgameEverginium and advanced AE2/Mekanism systems

This is guidance rather than a required order. BuildUp connects systems through custom recipes. Read the pack handbook and Everginium guide for details.

Playing together

TDGroupe manages groups, TDClaim protects areas and TDEconemy supports the economy. Simple Tomb protects ordinary death drops; TD LeaderBoard exposes selected statistics. Shared factories, transport routes and public services make useful long-term projects. Limit loaded chunks to necessary machinery and check permissions before connecting other players' storage or machines.

Reporting problems

Describe expected and actual behaviour, the item or block, dimension, chunk state and whether a restart changes anything. Screenshots and an approximate time help locate logs. Do not publish server addresses, player identifiers or private log content.
